For SCP capital solutions are fundamentally about executing a fiduciary and prudential obligation to the owners of capital - the community of savers and investors - to deploy capital wisely, and for the sustainable betterment of the community in which we live.

The Capital Group delivers a range of capital solutions to support long-term regional resilience initiatives. Capital solutions include a number of discrete equity funds, as well as debt solutions such as Bonds. Our capital structures are integrated into our social enterprises, as well as broader community-based fiduciary platforms to harness regional consumption and savings capacities. These are buttressed by access to capital support from Asian partners through Hong Kong and South China-based partners.

Communitisation

Communitisation is the community acquisition and operation of key service infrastructure assets.

The capital structure developed by Sister City Partners ensures that public and community value anchors the assets well into the future while at the same time providing avenues by which "trapped value" can be extracted for reinvestment. Through communitisation, new asset classes can be developed to enable access to a broad range of investment and capital resources.

One recent example has been the Communitisation of the Port of Townsville initiative, developed in response to the previous Queensland Government's intent to privatisation the Port. Regional Resilience and Development Fund

The Regional Resilience and Development Fund (RRDF) is a capital fund dedicated to seeding and supporting initiatives that enable the transformation of a regional community's economy focusing on (1) food production, (2) travel, leisure and events, and (3) wellness, aged care and health. The Fund also focuses on underlying enabling technologies, services and infrastructure that can support activities in these three arenas successfully service the growing middle class markets of Asia.

The Fund is an approved offering under an Australian Financial Services License. The Fund is probity supervised and overseen by an independent Board of Directors.

Capital Raising

We have access to over US$700b of investment funds earmarked for deployment within the Asia Pacific region by end of 2018. These funds are domiciled in Hong Kong and represent the resources of sovereign wealth funds, national and private pension funds, private equity funds and the resources of public and private companies together with high net worth individuals.
